The Incredible Adventures of Casper The Cat Who Got Lost in Africa Series!

This exciting new collection of children’s books is perfect for little adventurers ages 5 to 10. Each book follows Casper as she meets fascinating animals from the African savanna to the jungle—teaching kids not only about animals, but also about friendship, courage, kindness, and more.

Meet Casper
Casper was a cat with sticky-up black hair and one green eye. Her other eye was brown; so brown, her mother said, that it looked like a deep pool of mud. Casper wasn’t very happy about having mud in her eye, but her mum said it wasn’t actually mud; it just looked like it.
Casper lived with her mum and dad in a lovely house in a pretty city with lots of roads and lots of trees. Her life would be perfect if only her brother, Goulash, the grumpy dog, wasn’t so annoying. He was ancient and had bad eyesight and even worse breath. He would say her eye wasn’t muddy, it was poopy, and then he would laugh so hard, he’d fart. He farted a lot. It really was annoying. And very, very stinky.
All the neighbourhood cats called her the cat with two hearts. She had a little white half-heart marking on each of her front legs so when she sat with her legs together, they would form a whole heart; one on the outside of her body and one on the inside.
She was also brave, sassy and very smart. She was a wise old soul, everyone would say, and they would all come to her to solve problems that cats have.
Book 1 - The Pangolins
Casper finds herself lost in the deep, dark, scary African wilderness—a place she only knows as home to creepy bugs, giant spiders, and enormous animals that snack on little ones like her!
With no roads, signposts, or familiar landmarks, Casper realises it’s up to her to find her way back to her warm bed, loving parents, and stinky brother, Goulash the dog.
Summoning all her courage, she marches into the wild, her short legs trembling but her big heart determined. Every rustle makes her jump, but she presses on, meeting extraordinary new friends along the way: a bat-eared fox with banana-sized ears and an ability to hear dung beetles hatching underground, and a baby pangolin with a termite-slurping tongue longer than its body.
When Casper learns the pangolins are in grave danger from poachers, she faces her biggest challenge yet. Can a clueless city cat with a giant heart but zero bush smarts save her new friends before it’s too late?
Book 2 - The Elephants
In Book 2 of Casper’s Incredible Adventures, the African bush becomes just a little less scary for our brave and sassy feline heroine. After saying a tearful goodbye to her friends the Pangolins, Casper follows Obonye the Wise Owl’s directions to head east in order to get home. It’s not long before she stumbles into Bugle, a clumsy, cute and mischievous baby elephant.
She quickly learns that life among the elephants is messy, noisy, and full of surprises—especially when Bugle’s playful antics attract all sorts of trouble. But when they accidentally walk in on bullies tormenting a defenceless baby elephant, Casper and Bugle know they have to step in and help her, regardless of the consequences.
Can a tiny cat and a clumsy baby elephant bring peace to a bush filled with conflict? And can Bugle prove that bravery comes in all sizes?
Packed with humour, heart, and a little bit of mud, The Elephants is an unforgettable adventure about courage, kindness, and the power of standing up for what’s right.
